Cinnamon Wedges using croissant dough

So what do you do when your more than capable child comes to you and asks if he can experiment in the kitchen for breakfast? Well you let him experiment. Although to me it wasn’t much of an experiment because anything that requires dough, butter, sugar and cinnamon is just a remake of something delicious!

Nathanael found the croissant dough in the fridge and asked if he could use that and of course I permitted, with some supervision of course. He took the dough and placed it flat on a cookie sheet covered in parchment paper. Covered the dough with butter and cinnamon sugar and cooked it in the oven. It was actually edible and something we will be doing again!

Unroll the dough out onto parchment paper and run knife over the perforated areas, so that when it cooks the pieces will come apart easier.

Cover in butter and cinnamon sugar mixture

Bake in the oven per the directions on the package
